Bears agree to terms with ex-Titans DL DeMarcus Walker

The Bears have reportedly agreed to terms with former Titans DL DeMarcus Walker.

The Tennessee Titans have lost another one of their free agents to the Chicago Bears, as the team has reportedly agreed to terms with defensive lineman, DeMarcus Walker.

The news comes from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, who reports that the deal between Walker and the Bears is for three years, with an annual average of about $7 million.

Walker is the second Titans free agent to land with Chicago after the Bears gave right guard Nate Davis a three-year, $30 million deal.

Walker is coming off a career year in which he tallied a personal best seven sacks while serving in a rotational role for Tennessee. Losing him will no doubt create another hole for the Titans.

However, $7 million per year would have been a bit too rich for my own liking considering that’s closer to starter money for a guy who is a career backup with only one really good season under his belt.
