The Oklahoma City Thunder will have the bulk of its roster against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
After seven players missed the preseason opener against the San Antonio Spurs, four will return, three of whom are expected to be starters.
Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley, Al Horford and Justin Jackson will make their preseason debuts against the Bulls, head coach Mark Daigneault said.
Darius Miller, Ty Jerome and Josh Hall will not play.
Daigneault said the three are still working through return-to-play training and getting work in to overcome “bumps and briuses.”
All three are active, Daigneault said, meaning there are no serious injuries or coronavirus cases among the missing players.
On Saturday, the Thunder opened the preseason with a 121-108 win over the Spurs. Rookie Theo Maledon led Oklahoma City with 20 points and Isaiah Roby, who started, had 11 rebounds. Rookie Aleksej Pokusevski made four 3-pointers.
They’ll look to get their second win Wednesday in a game in which Horford will don a Thunder uniform in a game situation for the first time.
It will be Oklahoma City’s first home game of the preseason.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. It will be aired on Fox Sports Oklahoma and broadcast on WWLS 98.1 FM OKC.
