The great Bernie/Barry Sanders jersey mixup of 2020 ended with a (joking) presidential ticket that lots of people are getting behind.
A reminder: country music legend Garth Brooks posted a photo of himself wearing a Barry Sanders jersey while performing in Detroit, and a lot of people criticized him, thinking it was a show of support for potential presidential nominee Bernie Sanders, which led me to believe that not enough people have sat down and watched Barry Sanders highlight videos, something everyone should do.
Anyway! Barry responded to all this hoopla by reaching out to Brooks and asked if he wanted to be his vice president:
Hey @garthbrooks, want to be my VP? #Number20for2020 https://t.co/qPhw0lSFCD

Brooks responded:
Hey @BarrySanders I would run any race with you! #Number20for2020 HA!!! love you pal, g https://t.co/1a5d0CiwSP

And some people are actually into this Barry-Brooks ticket:
Barry, Barry, Barry!! #Number20for2020 #Lions #2020 https://t.co/L2jozPhPJb
