The longest regular season in the history of the NFL wrapped up after 18 weeks, and it came down to the final game of the year to settle the 14-team playoff field. The Las Vegas Raiders snuck in with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers, also carrying the Pittsburgh Steelers in with them.
Wild-card weekend kicks off the postseason with six games from Saturday to Monday night, determining who will advance to the divisional round with the Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans awaiting their opponents. Five of this weekend’s games are rematches, including two divisional matchups.
Looking at the upcoming slate of games, we put together a four-leg parlay with total odds of +623 at Tipico Sportsbook. In order for this bet to cash, all four legs must hit. It’s a mix of picks against the spread and straight-up winners with the money line.
Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook. Lines last updated Saturday at 7:10 a.m. ET.
Buffalo Bills ML (-240) vs. New England Patriots
I was tempted to take the Bills -3.5 here because all 11 of their wins have been by double-digits this season, so odds say if they’re going to beat the Patriots, they’re going to do so convincingly. However, it could be closer than usual with this being a playoff game in frigid conditions against Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
While I’m still confident in the Bills to win, the expected lower score makes the money line a safer bet.
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-115) vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals were the best team in football for the first seven weeks of the season, but they look nothing like that team right now. Without WR DeAndre Hopkins and with both of their running backs less than 100% healthy, the Cardinals could have some trouble against the Rams defense.
The Rams have won nine of their last 10 games against Arizona dating back to 2017 and should win this game by at least four points. Each of the last 10 games between these teams has been decided by 7 or more points.

Cincinnati Bengals ML (-240) vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are a sneaky team that could make some noise in the playoffs with their pass rush and with QB Derek Carr. This game should be closer than when they were blown out 32-13 by Cincinnati in Week 11.
The Bengals are an inconsistent team that can win it all when all things are clicking, but also can lose to the New York Jets when they’re not. I like the money line at -240 better than laying the 5.5 points with the spread.
Phildelphia Eagles +7.5 (-108) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Eagles’ playoff hopes ride almost entirely on the play of QB Jalen Hurts and the coaching staff’s usage of him. The Eagles will need to use Hurts’ mobility to get the ground game going because running it between the tackles with a running back typically doesn’t work against Tampa Bay.
The Bucs have been ravaged by injuries lately and are dangerously thin at wide receiver with Chris Godwin out and Antonio Brown out of action. I think the Eagles can keep this one competitive down the stretch.
