Wisconsin offered Eli Owens, a four-star athlete from Alcoa, Tennessee on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 230 pound player is a junior at Alcoa High School and still has two more seasons before he’d join a collegiate program as a member of their class of 2025. The versatile athlete has experience playing both tight end and defensive end.
Owens has now received 13 Division 1 offers including offers from powerhouses like Alabama and Michigan. That being said, Wisconsin under the guidance of Luke Fickell at head coach has proven to be more of an intriguing location for recruits, already grabbing some of the highest rated prospects in program history since he took over.
Considering how far out Owens’ decision likely is, he will certainly pick up some additional offers down the stretch.
