Badgers guard ruled out Monday versus Northwestern

The Badgers will be without a starting guard Monday versus Northwestern as Max Klesmit will be forced to sit out with an upper body injury.

The Badgers are set to return to action Monday on the road versus Northwestern at 5:30 PM, but the team will be without junior guard Max Klesmit in the contest. Klesmit has been ruled out with an upper body injury, which is likely a result of the blow to the head that he suffered in Wisconsin’s 63-60 win over Penn State on Tuesday.

Klesmit was limited to just 10 minutes of action versus the Nittany Lions and will now be forced to miss at least one game as a result of his injury. In his place, junior Jordan Davis will likely return to the starting lineup after heading to the bench for the first time Tuesday.

Wisconsin comes into Monday’s matchup with Northwestern at a 12-5 record and 4-3 in the Big Ten, while the Wildcats are also 12-5 but carry a 3-3 conference record so far.
