Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Auden Tate will head back to the city with his team after Sunday’s game in Oakland.
The former seventh-round pick was stretchered off the field late in the fourth quarter after taking a scary hit that left him on his back surrounded by trainers for a lengthy amount of time.
But as seen from Tate’s tweet above, everything seems fine.
The team noted Tate was cleared to fly and did so wearing a neck brace. According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, all tests came back negative. He’ll have further evaluation Monday but the developments so far are positive.
