Georgia is once again in great shape to make another run at the SEC Championship Game in 2021, with a ton of returning talent and a great incoming recruiting class.
Alabama remains the team to beat in the conference, and is expected to open the season ranked No. 1 in the nation, but the Bulldogs are not too far behind.
Aside from Georgia and Alabama, who else can contend for a spot in the SEC Championship? Florida will be in store for another solid season, but it’s unlikely the Gators will be able to replicate what they did last year.
The Texas A&m Aggies are a team to watch again. Last year, Jimbo Fisher’s team almost earned a spot in the College Football Playoff, and should have received some more love from the CFP Committee. They’ll likely to fall to Alabama and miss out on the SEC Championship, but could they put together another one-loss season?
AuburnWire released their SEC power rankings, and had the Bulldogs at No. 2.
Their top-five is as follows:
5. Ole Miss
4. Texas A&M
3. Florida
2. Georgia
1. Alabama

Outlook: Hey, look, Georgia is getting hype as national title contenders yet again this offseason. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. Quarterback J.T. Daniels and the Bulldogs defense will both be tough. Can they finally break through?
Georgia has its hands full in 2021, opening with Clemson in Charlotte and games against Florida and Auburn won’t be easy.
