The Auburn Tigers picked up their first SEC series win of the season last weekend, taking down the Georgia Bulldogs in Plainsman Park.
The series win drew some attention from the coaches as they received votes in the latest edition of the USA TODAY Sports Baseball Coaches Poll on Monday. The Tigers received 13 votes, slotting them in as the No. 36 team in the country.
The SEC once again put the most teams in the poll as six of the top 10 teams were from the conference and eight teams made the top 25. The only teams in the conference that did not at least receive votes are Mississippi State and Georgia.
The Tiger’s next SEC matchup will be with the No. 3 Florida Gators who are fresh off a sweep of No. 25 Ole Miss. Here is a look at the full poll:
