Auburn players comment on what campus looks like ahead of class

With the start of class and fall camp Monday, Auburn students have started to arrive and with their return, the university’s safety procedures against COVID-19 are about to be put to the test.

Auburn players Anthony Schwartz and Kameron Stutts have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns.

Currenty Auburn safety procedures require masks to be worn at all times inside buildings but only when “appropriate physical distancing is impractical or impossible.”

While he admitted he has not been in any of the buildings, Stutts added that the “bars are definitely not a good place to be.”

Schwarz agreed and even mentioned how many people have argued that players would be safer on campus than if they returned home.

Schwartz was quick to point out that he was in no way blaming the Auburn coaches or medical staff.

While Auburn seems to have avoided any COVID-19 outbreaks up until this point that task is about to get much harder with 30,000 students returning and with classes being a mixture of online or in person.
