Auburn football has to add multiple edge rushers to their roster and they just extended an offer to one of the best in the country. The Tigers extended an offer to five-star Colin Simmons on Saturday.
Simmons is a member of the 2024 recruiting class but already has over 20 scholarship offers. It’s easy to see why, he had 12 sacks and forced three fumbles as a sophomore for Duncanville High School in Texas.
Rivals believes the rising junior is the No. 1 recruit in his class. Simmons is listed as an edge player by some sites but other sites have him as a linebacker. This is a testament to his athleticism and is another reason why he is such a huge recruit.
