Auburn moves up a spot in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll

Auburn moves up a spot, while Alabama falls out of the top 25.

As we head to the SEC Tournament that begins on Mar. 9, we have another look at the updated coaches poll. Auburn finished out the season winning back-to-back games this past week over Mississippi State and South Carolina. After the Tigers took the No. 5 spot last week behind Gonzaga, Duke, Arizona, and Baylor, Auburn moved up to No. 4.

Following suit of Auburn, the Kentucky Wildcats moved up a spot to No. 5 after their win over the Florida Gators on Saturday. The Tennessee Vols moved up to No. 11, jumping up two spots. They survived a last-second comeback effort by the Arkansas Razorbacks, who are now No. 16.

The Alabama Crimson Tide fell out of the rankings after falling to the LSU Tigers in overtime on Saturday. The Tigers remain unranked but received votes this week. The big drop came from the Duke Blue Devils after they lost their season finale to North Carolina.
