Auburn makes top 10 for the No. 2 OT in 2024 class

Auburn is in the mix for Kam Pringle, the No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class.

Auburn is a contender for one of the top offensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting class.

[autotag]Kam Pringle[/autotag], a four-star offensive tackle prospect from Dorchester, South Carolina, announced his top 10 schools Tuesday morning and the Tigers made the cut. Auburn will be battling NC State, Tennessee, LSU, Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, Clemson, Ohio State, and Georgia for the talented prospect.

Pringle is ranked as the No. 58 overall player and No. 2 offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 1 player from South Carolina.

The 6-foot-7, 330-pounder took an unofficial visit to Auburn on June 3 and enjoyed his first trip to the Plains. That trip is a major reason Auburn made the list according to a conversation Pringle had with On3’s Chad Simmons.

“I visited the first time over the summer and I got to meet coach (Will) Friend, coach (Bryan) Harsin, and I really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful campus and I really liked it. I got to tour the campus, see the facilities, and I really liked it there. Spending time with the coaches and building on my relationships has helped Auburn make the list.”

Auburn is desperately looking to add offensive linemen in both the 2023 and 2024 recruiting classes and Pringle would be a great addition. The Tigers are still looking for their first tackle commit but do have four-star center Bradyn Joiner committed in the 2023 class.
