Auburn keeping close contact with 2024 small forward

Auburn has been in contact with 2024 four-star small forward Dallas Thomas.

On Wednesday, Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com reported that 2024 small forward Dallas Thomas has heard from numerous schools. One of the schools that have stayed in contact with the Arkansas native is the Auburn Tigers.

Thomas is regarded as a four-star by 247Sports’ recruiting rankings. He is listed at 6-foot-7 and 170 pounds. The native of Little Rock, Arkansas holds nine offers in total. Other programs that have offered Thomas thus far are Arkansas, Texas A&M, Houston, Illinois, Missouri State, St. John’s, Tulsa, and TCU. Several other schools like LSU, BYU, and Memphis have all reached out.

With Thomas being an Arkansas native, it will certainly be difficult to out-recruit the Razorbacks. However, if anyone can do it, it would have to be [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag]. It won’t be the first time that he has gone to Little Rock to land a promising recruit. In 2019, he was able to sign Little Rock native Allen Flanigan.

The Tigers are trying to build something special on the Plains. They are fresh off of an NCAA Tournament appearance as well as an SEC Championship title. It would be a great sign for the future if the coaching staff can find a way to land Thomas. We will have to wait and see how his recruitment pans out.
