Auburn is back in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll ahead of the SEC Tournament

The Tigers jumped up to No. 25 after receiving votes in last weeks poll.

The Auburn Tigers are on an eight-game winning streak and have won five-straight series, this run has them as the No. 5 seed in the SEC Tournament set to start Tuesday in Hoover, Alabama.

Their great second half of the season has them back in the top 25 of the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, announced Monday.

The Tigers (33-19-1, 17-13 SEC) jumped up four spots to the No. 25 ranking, after having spent the last few polls in the receiving votes category.

They are one of eight SEC teams to make the top 25 in the final edition of the regular season. The No. 2 Florida Gators are leading the way with No. 3 LSU, No. 4 Arkansas and No. 6 Vanderbilt all making the top 10.

Auburn will open its SEC Tournament run against the Missouri Tigers (30-23, 10-20) Tuesday. It will be their fourth straight game against each other as Auburn swept them last weekend in Plainsman Park.
