The No. 25 Tigers travel to Jacksonville to face the Gamecocks in their first true road contest of the season.

The No. 25 Auburn Tigers plays Jax State on Wednesday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Auburn baseball began midweek action on Tuesday with a defensive battle with UAB. [autotag]Bryson Ware[/autotag] recorded three of Auburn’s four hits in the contest which included a two-run home run in the 4th inning to lift Auburn over the Blazers, 4-1 at Plainsman Park.

Wednesday, Auburn will travel to Jax State for their first true road game of the season to face the Gamecocks at Rudy Abbot Field in Jacksonville.

After the UAB win on Tuesday night, Auburn head coach [autotag]Butch Thompson[/autotag] says that in-state games are important, and will build up the team ahead of SEC play next weekend. The Gamecocks enter the contest with a 4-8 record, but Thompson knows that his team can not take them lightly, especially at their place.

“Like UAB, look at this game (Tuesday), that was a pretty high-level baseball game. You are going to get that in the state of Alabama,” Thompson said after Auburn’s win over UAB on Tuesday. “I know what to expect (Wednesday), (Jax State) beat us on our home field last year. I think that was the only midweek game we lost within the ten weeks of SEC play.”

It is spring break at Auburn University, which means that the Tigers will play their first back-to-back midweek games of the season. Thompson says that his team needs to put Tuesday’s win behind them, and get ready for a new day.

“We have to reset and get right back at this (Wednesday). Spin a couple of bullets tonight and we have four more games this week,” Thompson said. “It will force us to keep unveiling some bullpen pieces, some young guys will be in the mix.”

Below, you will find everything you need to know ahead of Wednesday’s game between Auburn and Jax State, including a broadcast guide, projected lineup, and the pitching rotation.
