Fans of the Cleveland Browns can either root for the Cincinnati Bengals or the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl or try to just enjoy the game without a rooting interest. For many, choosing to root for either of the teams is tough. The Bengals are AFC North and Ohio rivals while the Rams have Odell Beckham Jr. on their team.
Los Angeles could be rooted for because the franchise was the Cleveland Rams once while rooting for Cincinnati to win would give the Browns bragging rights over the Super Bowl champions.
For Cleveland, watching Beckham in the Super Bowl for a different team is tough. After a playoff run in 2020 without him, many hoped his return would take the team to the next level. Instead, as we know, Beckham and the team parted ways and, based on Von Miller’s comments, he was not invested in the Browns this season.
Speaking with the media this week, Beckham seemed to regret the timing of how things went in Cleveland but not so much the substance that led to the departure:

Interesting that he doesn’t regret his father posting the video or any of his actions, only that he didn’t get to say goodbye to people on his terms. Despite desiring to leave, Beckham regrets not getting to go through a normal closure process in Cleveland.
