Arthur Blank, Matt Ryan donate to coronavirus relief efforts

Falcons owner Arthur Blank will reportedly donate $5.4 million to COVID-19 relief efforts.

The Atlanta Falcons gave their fans a nice distraction from the coronavirus pandemic by making multiple splashes in free agency this past week.

It doesn’t take away from the fact that the country is going through an unprecedented situation that affects each of us.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank, never one to shy away from getting involved in issues around the Atlanta community, will reportedly donate $5.4 million to COVID-19 relief efforts, per ESPN’s Field Yates:

He’s not the only member of the Falcons organization trying to help in this critical time, though. Earlier this week, quarterback Matt Ryan pledged that he would donate $100,000 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help with relief efforts.

Ryan also went social media to release the following video where he talks about the need for social distancing and reflecting on how the coronavirus has impacted his family:
