This is lovely.

After a tumultuous summer, 19-year-old soccer player Bukayo Saka returned to his club for pre-season training to the biggest surprise of his young career.

See the moment that soccer fans left the Arsenal midfielder almost speechless in the player above.

Bukayo’s first tournament as a full England international didn’t quite go as planned. After starring for his club in the English Premier League last season, he was thrilled to be included in the national team for the European Championship.

Bukayo had a great tournament as England made it to the final, where they were devastated to be beaten by Italy in a penalty shoot-out.

Bukayo was one of three black players on the England team who failed to convert their penalties. In the aftermath, the trio was subjected to a rash of racist abuse online.

Several alleged perpetrators were arrested, and the incident was widely condemned by most people.

But Arsenal fans went a step further, making a heartwarming gesture of support that Bukayo Saka will never forget.

On August 13th, Bukayo will begin to repay the fans’ faith in him, when Arsenal kick-off the English Premier League season against Brentford F.C.
