Well, the SEC Tournament didn’t end how Courtney Deifel and the rest of the Arkansas Softball team planned, with the extra-innings loss to Alabama.
We still have some good news for those in Fayetteville. Of course, individual awards are always nice, but I’m sure these honors are bittersweet.
Six Razorbacks received All-SEC honors. Ace, Chenise Delce was the only player voted to the first team, her second year in a row being voted first team, while the rest of the group were selected to the second team.
Last season the Hogs had seven players voted to the All-SEC team, but six of those players were on the first team. Hannah Gammil, who was first-team All-SEC last year, did not receive any honors.
