Arkansas listed as finalist to land four-star CB Jaylon Braxton

Jaylon Braxton names Arkansas in his top-8 choices, and is set to name a destination in July.

The nation’s no. 5 rated recruiting class for the 2023 cycle could receive defensive help in the form of a back from Texas.

Jaylon Braxton, a four-star cornerback from Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas, has announced his top-eight choices, and Arkansas makes the list.

Also in the tweet, Braxton reveals that he will name his college destination on July 9.

Braxton received an offer from Arkansas on March 4, which, at the time, was just his third offer from an SEC program behind Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

Since then, Braxton has received five offers and has taken two official visits, one to Michigan State and another to California, according to 247sports. Currently, 247sports’ Crystal Ball prediction has Braxton heading to Baylor.

So far in the 2023 recruiting class, the Razorbacks have reeled in mostly offensive players. Out of the 11 commits, only five of those are defensive players.

Braxton is the no. 21 cornerback in the nation, and the no. 36 prospect in the state of Texas according to 247sports.
