Archie Bradley flipped off the Astros from the bullpen after a Diamondbacks home run

One way to send a message.

Aside from the first game of their series against the Dodgers, the Astros haven’t experienced quite the torment that many expected after the offseason’s cheating scandal. Part of it may be the absence of fans this season. Rob Manfred’s insistence on protecting the Astros may also be a factor.

But that doesn’t mean that MLB players have moved on from the Astros’ cheating — not even close. We saw those ill feelings play out during Wednesday night’s game between the Astros and Diamondbacks.

With Nick Ahmed hitting in the fifth inning, the Arizona shortstop drove a 413-foot home run to left-center. But keep an eye on D-backs closer Archie Bradley in the bullpen.

He celebrated the homer by flipping off the Astros players.

And MLB fans noticed the gesture.

That’s one way to send a message, and it doesn’t involve throwing baseballs at each other. So, there’s that.

The Diamondbacks went on to win the game, 14-7. They play Houston again on Thursday.
