Antonio Brown’s turn to catch touchdown pass from Tom Brady

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady threw 3 touchdown passes and for more than 200 yards … in the first half

How about a trio of touchdown passes, one each to a different receiver, for the 44-year-old Tom Brady in the first half of Thursday’s NFL season opener between the Dallas Cowboys and  Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

The third came when Brady connected with Antonio Brown from 47 yards. The Buccaneers obviously don’t take to trailing as they turned a 16-14 deficit into a 21-16 lead with a 2-play, 57-yard drive.

Brady was putting up monster numbers before halftime. He was 13-of-18 for 213 yards and the TDs, one each to Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, and Brown. He also threw two picks, one on a Hail Mary to end the first half.

Brown had a monster half,  going for the touchdown and 118 yards on 4 receptions.
