Antoine Winfield Jr. only remembers one thing about Buffalo (but is well aware of Josh Allen)

Antoine Winfield Jr. on Buffalo & #Bills QB Josh Allen:

Antoine Winfield Jr. is well known in western New York despite never playing a game at Highmark Stadium.

That’s because his father, Antoine Winfield Sr., did plenty of times. He was a first-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1999 and played the first four years of his NFL career with the team.

Winfield will take in his first game in Orchard Park on Thursday when the Bills (4-3) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3).

Winfield, 25, knows the connection, but sadly does not have huge memories of Buffalo. He was born right before his father’s career and was very young at the time.

Like many, he recalls one thing: Snow.

More recently, he is very well aware Josh Allen. Winfield said he knows the Bills quarterback is going to be tough to defend.

“We’ve got to do our best to contain him. He’s good, he has weapons everywhere,” Winfield said. “It’s always tough playing dual-threat quarterbacks.”

Tampa head coach Todd Bowles acknowledged some recent struggles Buffalo has had. But he still recognized the talented roster the Bills are.

“(The Bills) are still high-powered. Obviously, they have a lot of talent. I don’t know what’s going on exactly. We’ve got to worry about ourselves more than we worry about them,” Bowles said via video conference. “If we take care of ourselves, we will go up and play a good ballgame.”
