The Manning Passing Academy will have Florida’s [autotag]Anthony Richardson[/autotag] as a camp counselor over the summer.
The event will be hosted by Nicholls State University in Louisiana from June 23-26. Richardson will work with Archie, Eli and Peyton Manning at their event to help young quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends hone their skills. The other counselors recently announced are Houston senior Clayton Tune, Miami sophomore Tyler Van Dyke and Vanderbilt junior Mike Wright.
There are dozens of other quarterbacks from around the country attending the event, including 11 from SEC programs. In fact, only Auburn and Missouri lack representation at the event.
It’s not the first time Richardson has looked to give back to the football community, and it’s one of the things that makes him a leader in Florida’s locker room. It’s also a pretty good opportunity to hang around some of the best quarterbacks to play in the NFL over the last two decades.

Richardson is expected to be the starter for the Gators this fall after the departure of Emory Jones through the transfer portal and beating out [autotag]Jack Miller[/autotag] over the spring. If the Orange and blue game is any indication, Richardson is clearly the guy in 2023.
After returning from the Manning Passing Academy, Richardson and Co. will have just over two months to prepare for the season opener against Utah in Gainesville.
