Another mock draft puts one Auburn Tiger at No. 1

What do you think of these destinations for Jabari Smith and Walker Kessler?

The NBA lottery has come and gone and with the draft rapidly approaching it is an important time for the top prospects. Auburn fans have two former players they will want to keep an eye on as they attempt to make a late climb up draft boards.

For [autotag]Jabari Smith[/autotag], there is little room for improvement as he is widely considered one of the three best prospects in the draft. [autotag]Walker Kessler[/autotag] on the other hand, is currently considered a late first-round pick.

Jeff Zillgit of USA TODAY Sports unveiled his latest mock on Wednesday. Here is where he had both former Tigers going.

Jabari Smith: No. 1 overall to Orlando Magic

What Zillgit said:

Smith is a fantastic offensive player who can score off the dribble and with his jump shot – either from 3-point range or mid-range. At his size, he is difficult to defend. It will tough for a team to pass on Smith because of his upside and potential to make an immediate impact. The Magic are known for drafting length and size, and Smith fits the profile.

Walker Kessler: No. 24 Milwaukee Bucks

What Zillgit said:

Kessler is a pick-and-roll big, knows how to set screens and is patient alongside the ball-handler. He is also very active on the offensive boards and blocks shots. He improved his game after playing his freshman season at North Carolina, shooting 70.2% on 2-pointers for Auburn. Adding a reliable 3-ball will help.
