Georgia Bulldogs running back Branson Robinson can’t catch a break. Robinson missed the entire 2023 college football season with a knee injury and has been limited in 2024.
Robinson was not present at Georgia practice in the lead up to the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. Robinson has not played since Georgia’s Oct. 12 game against Mississippi State. It now looks like Robinson won’t return for the College Football Playoff. Robinson reportedly suffered an injury setback to his knee.
Branson Robinson has 25 carries for 73 yards and three touchdowns this season. He is one of UGA’s top power running backs.
Georgia is already without running back Roderick Robinson, who only played in two games this year. The Bulldogs will primarily rely on running backs Trevor Etienne and Nate Frazier. Running back Cash Jones will also see a significant amount of action, especially in obvious passing situations.
Georgia has not had Roderick Robinson and Branson Robinson both healthy for a single game this season as both players have dealt with unfortunate injuries.
