Another Bengals starter joins injury report late before Week 18 vs. Steelers

The Bengals injury report keeps getting bigger before the season finale.

The Cincinnati Bengals just can’t seem to avoid the injury bug ahead of the Week 18 season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to the well-known names like Tee Higgins and Chase Brown, rookie right tackle Amarius Mims is a question mark to play against the Steelers.

Even worse, there’s a new name on the final injury report — starting cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt suffered an ankle injury in practice and is questionable to play in Pittsburgh.

In all, six players have the questionable tag:

  • RB Chase Brown
  • WR Tee Higgins
  • WR Charlie Jones
  • OT Amarius Mims
  • TE Drew Sample
  • CB Cam Taylor-Britt

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has already said Sample will play and Higgins doesn’t sound like a major concern.

Suddenly trotting out Cody Ford at right tackle and needing to give a depth name like DJ Ivey serious starting reps in place of CTB, though, could cause some problems.

Still, these are 50-50 questionable tags and there is plenty of time to get right between now and Saturday night.
