Four-star safety recruit Rashad Johnson is projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Louisville Cardinals and Texas A&M Aggies. Steve Wiltfong of On3 recently made the prediction. He also predicted Georgia to land another four-star safety.
Johnson, who is a member of the 2025 recruiting cycle, recently pushed back his commitment date from July 1 to July 14. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety plays high school football for South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida.
The South Sumter defensive back also plays wide receiver. In his highlights, Johnson displays good ball skills and athleticism. The four-star frequently delivers tight coverage and is a strong tackler.
Johnson is the No. 360 prospect nationally, per On3. Johnson is the No. 49 recruit in Florida and the No. 33 safety in the country.
Georgia does not have any commitments from defensive backs in the class of 2025, but fans should expect that to change very soon. Georgia football has the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation behind Alabama and Ohio State. The Bulldogs have 17 commitments in the class of 2025.
