Every year, members of the New York Giants, both and present, come together for a charity softball game at Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, New York.
This year, there was an expectation that the event would get even bigger with involvement from the New York Jets. However, due to the global spread of the coronavirus, it was announced on Sunday that the event, which was scheduled for May 21, has been canceled.
on May 31st and thats a decent amount of time to see where we'd be in a few weeks, getting answers at this point in time with everything going on is nearly impossible. No event of this magnitude can be put together in just a few short weeks and be as successful as it has been pic.twitter.com/hPrvWmvjnX

volunteers, attendees, players, their families and staff is of utmost importance which is why this tough decision has been made. The immediate future is just too unclear.

Although the 2020 charity game has been canceled, it will return in 2021 and will likely be bigger and better than ever before.
