LSU has made national headlines in the last year, largely due to the rise in popularity of its athletes during some of college sports’ biggest moments. The impact of the university’s top players in the current NIL era will be shared with sports fans in a new Prime Video docuseries featuring athletes like quarterback Jayden Daniels and forward Angel Reese.
According to Carlie Kollath Wells of Axios, the show will be called The Money Game and will give fans an “all-access pass” to the day-to-day operations of LSU athletics during the 2023-2024 season. Heisman winner Jayden Daniels and 2023 women’s basketball national champion Angel Reese will make appearances along with star gymnast Olivia Dunne and basketball phenom Flau’jae Johnson.
Axios, Campfire Studios and Shaquille O’Neal, Reese’s mentor, have been tapped to produce the project.
