Amari Cooper is bringing a positive attitude with him to the Buffalo Bills.
On Tuesday, the Bills (4-2) landed Cooper in a trade with the Cleveland Browns. He immediately addresses the team’s need for a No. 1 wide receiver.
In six games this season, Cooper has caught 24 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns as the Browns’ top receiver.
He will hope to continue producing in Buffalo with Josh Allen as his quarterback. Cooper has already said as much.
Speaking to NFL insider Josina Anderson, Cooper gave his first thoughts on joining the Bills. Cooper specifically said he was a “fan” of Allen’s game. In addition, Cooper added he is looking forward to turning the page.
With the Browns, Cooper was on a 1-5 team in the basement of the AFC North. Now he joins the Bills, who sit on top of the AFC East.
Anyone would be happy about that, even if it’s early on in the 2024 season.
