The Cleveland Browns are set to close out their season against the Pittsburgh Steelers (although Jadeveon Clowney may not join them). And wide receiver Amari Cooper is just 80 yards away from hitting his personal best in career yards. Cooper was asked if reaching a new career-high in receiving yards was an important mark for him, and he did not deny it. Coming off of a two-touchdown performance against the Washington Commanders, Cooper had this to say about eclipsing his career-high in receiving yards:
“Of course. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t. Every year you want to get better because like they say, if you are not getting better, you are getting worse. You don’t work real hard in the offseason and the preseason, to get worse. Yeah, it is something that is very important to me.”
