It is always a thrill when you meet your basketball hero. For most, that guy was Michael Jordan who is also known as the greatest player to ever play the game of basketball. He had such a huge influence on the game on his way to winning six titles.
That was the same for Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson who, like every other basketball player during that generation, looked up Jordan. He finally had his chance to meet the Chicago Bulls legend at an All-Star event and this is how it went:
The first time I ever talked to him was that year playing in the Rookie game. That was the year they did the top 50 of all time when they had the jackets on and all that. I saw him walking through and I’ll never forget it because he said ‘What’s up you little [expletive]?
