All-American kicker David Dellenbach commits to UCLA

The Bruins get a massive commitment from a talented kicker.

Throughout the recruiting process, the Bruins have been trying to improve on all cylinders. This week, they received a commitment from a player on the special teams side of the ball. David Dellenbach, a placekicker from Park City, Utah, announced his commitment to UCLA.

Though not an immediate position of need, with redshirt senior Blake Glessner still on the roster, the Bruins added for the future at a position that flies under the radar until the lights shine brightest.

Dellenbach, who in his high school career nailed a 58-yard field goal for Park City High School, was an All-American during the 2023 season.

Dellenbach received an offer from the Bruins back in March and chose the Bruins despite receving offers from San Jose State, Utah State, and Montana State.

Though the job is not his, with Glessner ranking above him by seniority, Dellenbach offers a potential future at the position which the Bruins could need as they begin their tenure in the always-tough BIG 10.
