Alex Caruso to get ‘precautionary’ MRI, probable for Game 4 vs. Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers guard is still very likely to play against the Denver Nuggets in Thursday’s Game 4.

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t only lose their Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets, they also got a little bit beat up by the action. Luckily for the Lakers, they won’t be missing any personnel when they go into a very important Game 4 on Thursday night, even though they are taking all precautions to realize what is going on with their defensive dynamo Alex Caruso.

Lakers coach Frank Vogel told reporters on Wednesday that Alex Caruso is probable to play in Game 4 with a sore wrist, but that they are getting an MRI to understand the full diagnosis, according to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times.

The Lakers stormed back to create a tight finish in last night’s Game 3, but they also trailed by 20 points in the second half and their defense was unable to get enough stops, or even make the Nuggets uncomfortable, for the rest of the game.
