The NASCAR Cup Series will visit Darlington Raceway in under two weeks for its signature “Throwback Weekend.” Several amazing paint schemes have already been released, such as Kyle Larson’s throwback to Terry Labonte. However, Hendrick Motorsports has revealed another special paint scheme to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
[autotag]Alex Bowman[/autotag] will throwback to [autotag]Jimmie Johnson[/autotag]’s legendary Lowe’s paint scheme at Darlington in two weeks. It is a perfect paint scheme and gives us a look at what Johnson’s former paint scheme would have looked like on the NextGen car. Overall, it is a great scheme as the number and colors complete the throwback look.

Hendrick Motorsports has taken the “throwback” paint scheme world by storm. It has released three fantastic paint schemes for Bowman, Larson, and Chase Elliott, with William Byron remaining. Now, the NASCAR world must wait for Byron’s paint scheme, which could feature a throwback to Jeff Gordon in one of his previous cars.
