On Monday, Alabama guard Kira Lewis Jr. was selected as the Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week.

Lewis helped the Crimson Tide defeat both Vanderbilt and Kansas State by averaging 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game.
Lewis becomes the second Alabama player to earn SEC Player of the Week this season, joining John Petty Jr. who earned the honor for the week of Dec. 23.
This is also Lewis’ second time receiving league recognition. In 2018, Lewis was named SEC Freshman of the Week in December.
The Crimson Tide take on LSU on Wednesday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
