Former Alabama star golfer Justin Thomas was named the PGA of America Player of the year, for the second time in his career.
The PGA of America awards determines the Player of the Year through a season-long points system.
Thomas finished the season with 66 points, 10 more than the runner up to the award, Jon Rahm.
Thomas also won this same award in 2017.
As of right now, Thomas is officially the No. 3 golfer in the World according to the Official World Golf Ranking. He’s also ranked 3 in the PGA Tour with three victories this season.
