Alabama may be replacing its top three wide receivers in Jameson Williams, John Metchie, and Slade Bolden but the cupboard is not bare for Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young.
Not only has Nick Saban and the Tide recruited the high school ranks at an elite level, but they have also dove into the transfer portal and snagged an elite talent in Jermaine Burton.
On Sunday, 247Sports released its rankings for the top 10 returning wide receivers for the 2022 season and the Georgia transfer landed in the eighth spot.
Burton finished the 2021 season with 26 catches for 497 yards and 5 touchdowns. His 19.1 yards per reception was good enough for 15th in the country.
Burton should make an instant impact for the Tide and soften the blow of losing the top three receivers from the 2021 season.
