Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy named a ‘must-watch’ for Raiders at 2020 NFL Combine

The 2020 NFL Scouting Combine is set to begin in less than two weeks, and the Raiders will likely have their eyes glued to the wide receiver position in Indianapolis. Without a doubt, the receiver position is the biggest need on offense and there are going to be plenty of talents on the field working out in front of all of their scouts.

One player that the Raiders will keep a close eye on is Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy, who is arguably the top receiver in the 2020 class. In a recent article by NFL.com’s Charlie Casserly, Jeudy is the one player the Raiders “must-watch” in Indianapolis:

The Raiders have lacked a No. 1 receiver since trading Amari Cooper away in the middle of the 2018 season. (Remember the Antonio Brown fiasco?) Jeudy is the top player at his position and would fit in well with Tyrell WilliamsHunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller.

Jeudy is expected to perform better in the 40-yard dash than Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as Jeudy should run in the low 4.4s. Still, it will be important for the former Alabama star to dominate in the shuttle drills and the explosion drills, as well.

Considering how close these two prospects are to one another, if Jeudy can prove to be a better athlete than Lamb, that would go a long way in securing his spot as the No. 1 receiver in the class. Look for Jeudy to put on a show at the NFL Combine for all of the league to see.
