One of the top pass-catchers in college football is leaving school early for the next level.
Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams will declare for the 2022 NFL draft, making his announcement via social media Thursday.
Williams was an explosive, big-play machine for the Crimson Tide all year long, helping them win an SEC title and make an appearance in the National Championship Game.
The biggest question for Williams will be his recovery from a torn ACL suffered in that national title game loss to Georgia on Monday night. Assuming he’s able to make a full recovery, Williams should come off the board early once April rolls around.
