On Thursday night, the Alabama women’s basketball team stunned No. 12 Texas A&M in College Station, 76-63. This was the first time in program history that Alabama has ever beaten back-to-back top 15 teams. It’s also the first time Alabama has ever beaten Texas A&M in the series, and it’s the Tide’s third straight SEC victory.

The Crimson Tide attempted a total of 62 shots and made 27 of them for a field goal percentage of 43.5 percent. Alabama also made 14/15 free throws for 93.3 percent percentage. Alabama also made 8 of 22 three pointers
Alabama was led by Jasmine Walker who had 24 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Alabama’s Ariyah Copeland recored 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Texas A&M went 24/66 for 36.4 percent and also made 13/19 free throws for 68.4 percent.
Alabama improves to 17-11 (7-8 in the SEC) while the Aggies drop to 22-6 (10-5 in the SEC).
