On Monday, Alabama softball’s freshman pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl was named the SEC Freshman of the Week after an impressive performance at last week’s St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational.

Kilfoyl pitched 14.2 innings pitched across four appearances, including a one-hit shutout over No. 1 Washington.
At the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational. last week, She recording a 1-0 record with five runs allowed, four earned, ALL while striking out 16. As a relief pitcher this past weekend, she pitched 9.0 innings with five runs allowed and eight strikeouts.
This is the program’s 24th Freshman of the Week award.
