One of the best safety prospects in the country is making the early jump to the pro ranks.
Alabama’s Xavier McKinney has decided to forego his remaining eligibility and enter the 2020 NFL draft. He announced his decision via Instagram on Sunday.
A complete player who excels both in coverage and in run support, McKinney will duke it out with LSU’s Grant Delpit for the rights to be the first safety drafted in 2020. He is widely regarded as a premier prospect in the defensive backs group. He should be a lock to hear his name called among the top 20 picks.
