One of the top safeties in college football is heading back to school for another year.
Alabama’s Jordan Battle is passing up the chance to enter the 2022 NFL draft, and will instead return to school for his senior season.
Battle made the announcement Friday via social media.
Widely regarded as one of the top safety prospects in this year’s draft class, Battle was projected to be a Day 2 pick, but could enter the first-round conversation with a strong 2022 campaign.
