Some of the biggest college football news over the past few weeks have bene players publicly declaring for the NFL Draft or announcing their return for their senior season. University of Alabama English Professor Brian Oliu decided to post his own declaration of sorts, and it’s hilarious.

Even former Alabama (and current New England Patriots) running back Damien Harris, thought it was hilarious.

Obviously, this is a spin off of the announcements the Alabama juniors have been posting the past few weeks.

Oliu, who has taught English at Alabama since 2009, had this to say in his “declaration” :

“I feel as if my time is not up at Alabama, as I have a lot of unfinished business as a teacher of English. After praying, talking with David Ainsworth and my family, I’ve decided that I will return for the 2020 academic year.”

So far, Tua Tagovailoa, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, Terrell Lewis, Jedrick Wills Jr., and Xavier McKinney have all declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.

The only player who hasn’t announced is Alabama running back Najee Harris, who is expected to make his decision soon.
