Alabama Morning Drive: Rising TE prospect Olsen Henry names Tide as his favorite

The latest news and notes involving the Alabama Crimson Tide on Monday morning.

Nick Saban certainly knows what it takes to win at a high level and it all starts on the recruiting trail. Over the past decade-plus, nobody has owned the recruiting industry like Saban and the Tide. Even at the age of 70, Saban isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

On Sunday evening it was reported by Joseph Hastings of On3 that Alabama has now taken the lead for a fast-rising tight end prospect for the class of 2023 in Olsen Henry.

Henry was offered by coach Saban and Alabama when he visited Tuscaloosa on April 8.

Although Henry has not yet received a star ranking from On3 or 247Sports, he is already considered a four-star prospect by ESPN.

I fully expect Henry to be a consensus four-star prospect before it is all said and done.

That is going to wrap up our Monday edition of Alabama Morning Drive. I hope everyone has a safe and happy day.
