The Alabama men’s basketball team will play its lone exhibition game in 2023 against Wake Forest. On Tuesday, both schools announced that the game would be a charity exhibition via X; formerly known as Twitter.
According to Wake Forest’s official website, all proceeds from the game will be used to support stroke research at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Stroke Center.
The Crimson Tide will travel to Winston-Salem to face the Demon Deacons on Oct. 29. The game will begin at 1:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. CT and take place at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The game will be a good opportunity for Alabama to evaluate itself and help discover its identity before beginning the regular season.
