Alabama MBB continuing to pursue 2024 4-Star PG Jase Richardson

The Alabama coaching staff has remained in contact with 2024 four-star point guard Jase Richardson.

Point guard Jase Richardson of the 2024 class narrowed his list of finalists to eight schools last month. However, Richardson has four programs ahead of the pack and Alabama is one of them.

When speaking with On3’s Joe Tipton about the Crimson Tide, Richardson said, “They were a big team this year, basically a top-five team all season. They had a great run in March Madness. I just like how coach (Nate) Oats coaches his guys. He’s defensive-oriented then on offense, he lets them go and I like that about them.”

The other programs that are high on Richardson’s list are Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Stanford. According to On3’s RPM, the Spartans are the trending to land Richardson’s commitment at 49.5% likelihood.

With Alabama’s recent success, it will be interesting to see if the new Alabama coaching staff can land one of the nation’s top point guards. Richardson is looking to announce his commitment in mid-October.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama basketball recruiting.
